Noen som har prøvd guiden under for å bli kvitt problemet med at iphonen sender gruppe mms istedet for sms.
""This group MMS thing can be fixed by the carrier but seems like it is such a good money spinner that all of them left it alone. All you need to do to fix it is to create a custom ipcc file.
1. Make iTunes (only for version v8.2.0.23, the first v8.2 before this one does not require this step) .ipcc update friendly again by issuing in command prompt:
Start > Run > "C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunes.exe" /setPrefInt carrier-testing 1
2. Get your carrier's update file, the clean, unedited version.
curl -s -L
http://phobos.apple.com/version | grep -i _sg
(Windows users will need Cygwin and Terminator to issue this unix command)
I can only find the Singtel ones from apple's website and it is fairly old... however it will work fine.
As of writing, this is the correct link.
Singtel -
http://appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite....ingTel_sg.ipcc3. Rename the .ipcc to .zip, unzip the archive, go into Payload and then .bundle. Finally, open up carrier.plist. (
http://www.ipodrobot.com/download.htm and download plist Editor for Windows)
4. The property key you want to check for / insert is under the tree 'mms', the key being 'GroupModeEnabled'. If you don't see this in your telco's ipcc, just add it in.
Look for something like this under plist editor:
<key>MMS</key> <-- Look for this
<dict>
<key>GroupModeEnabled</key> <-- Insert this
<false/> <-- Insert this too
5. Save the file, zip up the "Payload" directory and call it STUPIDBUG.ipcc (that's a joke, call it whatever you like and make sure you keep the .ipcc extension).
6. Open iTunes, connect iPhone, shift+click on "Check for Update", find your new .ipcc and away you go.
Will cook a file up when i got a chance to look at the Singtel settings. This will also work with M1/Starhub if u edit them to the correct settings. ""
